Special Issue

We are pleased to announce that following the 28th INFER Annual Conference & 23rd FIBA conference, we are organizing a special issue of the Review of Finance and Banking entitled Research Frontiers in Finance: Insights from the Next Generation of Economists with Walter Farkas (ETH), Iuliana Ismailescu (PACE University), and Andreea Stoian (Bucharest University of Economic Studies) as Guest Editors.

This special issue is dedicated to highlighting the contributions of young researchers working in the broad field of Finance. It aims to provide a platform for theoretical and empirical research addressing contemporary challenges in financial markets, banking, corporate finance, sustainable finance, household finance, financial literacy, fintech, and related areas. By bringing together research from emerging scholars, the special issue seeks to showcase new perspectives and advance the frontiers of financial research.

The deadline for paper submission is September 7, 2026.
